With strong financial footing and a long runway, we prioritize creating an environment where people can do the best work of their careers.\nThe Role\nOuttake is looking for a Brand Designer to help evolve our visual identity and bring it to life across every place people encounter the company.\nThis is a multidisciplinary, hands-on role spanning brand systems, campaigns, social content, events, presentations, and the web. You’ll move fluidly between developing strong creative ideas, refining the systems behind them, and producing polished work for the everyday needs of a fast-moving company. One day might be designing a time square billboard, then next might be working on some social ads.\nYou’ll work most closely with our marketing and growth team, while collaborating with people across Outtake. The right person has range, strong visual judgment, and the adaptability to take on different kinds of creative problems without losing sight of craft or consistency.\nWhat You’ll Do\nHelp evolve Outtake’s visual identity and establish a distinctive, consistent expression of the brand\n\nTranslate the brand into campaigns, social content, event materials, presentations, digital experiences, and other company touchpoints\n\nDesign and build new pages and experiences for Outtake’s website in Figma and Webflow\n\nDevelop flexible templates, guidelines, and reusable systems that make it easier for the broader team to create high-quality, on-brand work\n\nPartner with marketing and growth to turn company priorities, product launches, and emerging ideas into compelling creative concepts\n\nMove comfortably between concept development and hands-on production, carrying work from an early idea through final execution\n\nManage multiple projects with different timelines and levels of ambiguity while maintaining a high bar for detail and craft\n\nFind thoughtful, efficient ways to produce excellent work as priorities and needs evolve.\n\nCollaborate with external partners, vendors, and freelancers when a project requires additional capabilities\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA few years of professional design experience, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates strong brand thinking and polished execution\n\nThe range to work across identity, campaigns, digital design, social content, events, presentations, and web experiences\n\nStrong typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and art-direction skills.\n\nFluency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma\n\nExperience designing and building responsive websites in Webflow\n\nThe ability to understand a brand system, work effectively within it, and identify thoughtful opportunities to evolve it\n\nComfort operating in a fast-moving environment where assignments can range from highly visible creative initiatives to practical day-to-day design needs\n\nGood judgment about when to explore, when to refine, and when to ship\n\nMotion design or video-editing experience is a plus, but not required\n\nLife at Outtake\nOffice: For those in NY, we are an in-person team (5 days a week, with flexibility as needed) working out of a stunning waterfront office in Brooklyn.
