Having exceptional communication and leadership skills, you will successfully look after your team’s welfare, safety and productivity whilst collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that the flow of orders and stock fulfils customer requirements. Being a keen problem solver and having attention to detail, you will thrive in this fast paced environment.\nMain duties include:\nSupervision of warehouse team, despatch and goods receiving functions, ensuring that all orders are picked and despatched in accordance to customer / OCUK requirements.\n\nEnsure that deliveries are checked and booked in promptly and accurately.\n\nPositively influence performance, morale, health and safety compliance and good housekeeping.\n\nOnboarding and training of new staff.\n\nPrimarily responsible for parcel carrier shipments and WMS queries.\n\nEnsuring that the pick face is replenished effectively.\n\nProvide support on PI.\n\nEnsure that rules, policies and procedures are followed consistently.\n\nLiaison with the customer services team to facilitate customer collections, queries and to provide updates where required.\n\nProvide absence cover for other supervisors and manager.\n\nKey holder for site - open and closing of site when required.\nNormal working hours are as follows:\n· Week 1 -Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30 = 40 hours\n· Week 2 - Monday to Friday 10.00 - 19.00 = 40 hours\n· Week 3 - Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30 and Saturday 09.00 - 17.00 = 47 hours\nNB: Alternative shifts could be accommodated if weekend working is preferred. Please indicate your preference on your application.\n\nRequirements\nEssential\nPrevious warehouse supervisory experience of leading teams of 15 or more people\n\nExcellent team leading and communication skills\n\nWorking knowledge of warehouse Health and Safety regulations\n\nProven problem solving ability\n\nWorking knowledge of WMS/ ERP systems\n\nExcellent IT skills\n\nAbility to lead and inspire your team for excellence and continuous improvement\n\nDesirable\nForklift experience / licence - VNA, PPT, Counterbalance\n\nHealth and Safety or relevant team leading qualification\n\nSounds like your new job?
