Backed by eight-figure contracts across the Department of Defense, we are strengthening national security by iterating closely with end users engaged in tactical operations.\nRole Summary\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically fluent Systems Project Manager to support high-tempo engineering execution across multiple programs, teams, and workstreams. In this role, you will run regular planning meetings, drive schedules, manage ticket queues, maintain plans and trackers, and ensure clear communication across engineering, program, and operations teams. You will work closely with software, hardware, safety, and test teams to track issues, organize priorities, and support smooth and predictable delivery of engineering milestones. Your attention to detailed planning and processes will enable engineers to stay focused on building and validating system performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities by gathering objectives, deliverables, and resource needs from cross-functional teams\nAssist partnered teams in the creation and revision of structured plans, validation documents, meeting notes, and process documentation\nTrack and manage software and hardware issues across development and test cycles, ensuring accurate ticket creation, clear prioritization, and timely updates\nProvide clear reporting on milestone readiness, issue status, backlog trends, and outstanding risks\nMaintain visibility into schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure work is properly sequenced and aligned with program timelines\nSupport planning for engineering validation efforts, field demonstrations, and customer deliverables by coordinating timelines, documentation, and technical prerequisites\nTrack and follow up on action items outside of meetings to ensure resolution or closure\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, an Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience\n3+ years of experience in project coordination, test coordination, technical operations, QA, or related roles within robotics, autonomous systems, or software development environments\nExperience with JIRA or similar ticket management system\nDesired Qualifications & Experience\nDemonstrated experience coordinating work across multiple engineering disciplines, including software and hardware teams\nExperience running technical working sessions, capturing decisions, and driving action-item follow-through\nStrong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent threads\nComfortable working close to the technical work without needing to own technical decisions\nComfortable working in environments ranging from office settings to manufacturing floors and field test sites\nGit/GitHub (or similar) familiarity for: reviewing commits, branches, and logs; checking that images or builds are available in shared registries; following up with software owners when updates are needed\nWillingness to travel to field test sites and customer locations as needed, including regular trips to our central Washington test sites\nStrong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill technical information into structured plans and actionable updates\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve efficiency in project tracking, documentation, or reporting\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance\nLocation\nThe preferred location for this position is onsite in Seattle, WA.
