The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various construction projects, from inception to completion.\nProjects will include tenant improvements, renovation, infrastructure, site work, etc at CSULB.\nSalary Range: $105,000 - $115,000\nApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\nResponsibilities\nProvide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager. \nResponsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc. \nOrganize and maintain project files \nAssist CM with change order management. The PE shall be able to independently review change order requests for merit and fair pricing, and prepare change orders for processing. \nManage the closeout and turn over process. \nAssist CM to prepare project files for CSU system audit at project completion. \nSite conditions verification and support as needed. \nRequirements\n 3-6+/- years of project engineer experience, including major capital projects\n Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred \n CSU experience is a plus but not required \n Design-Build or CM at Risk Experience is a plus but not required\n Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials\n Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n Detail-oriented
