join our quest.\nResponsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nEngineer, maintain, and scale Overwolf’s core data warehouse, pipelines, and data platform.\nDesign and manage reliable ETL and ELT flows across databases, APIs, event streams, business systems, and data lakes.\nOwn data quality, event tracking, governance, and the company’s source-of-truth systems.\nBuild data solutions for internal teams and external user-facing products used by creators, mod authors, and millions of gamers.\nPartner with business teams to transform data needs into robust self-serve analytics and AI-assisted insights.\nLead and mentor data engineers, BI developers, and analysts while raising the technical bar across the data organization.\nChampion accessible data tooling and help foster a data-driven culture across the company.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field\n7+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced technology company\n4+ years of management experience, preferably in B2B2C, marketplace, SaaS, or consumer-scale environments\nProven experience building and leading technical data teams, including data engineers, BI developers, and analysts\nStrong hands-on experience designing and scaling cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake\nDeep expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL and ELT pipelines, orchestration tools such as Airflow, and analytics-ready data models\nExperience owning data quality, governance, event tracking, and company-wide source-of-truth systems\nStrong understanding of SaaS metrics, marketplace dynamics, and user behavior analytics\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at all levels\nBonus Points\nPassion for gaming, creators, and the creator economy\nAbility to tame wild data dragons, conquer pipeline dungeons, and keep dashboards flowing before your first cup of mana -
