The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.\nThis role serves as the primary project lead and trusted partner for customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout the deployment lifecycle. The Project Manager is responsible for driving business-critical, customer-facing initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. Experience in Healthcare Project Management is preferred.\nThe successful candidate will apply disciplined project management methodologies to oversee all phases of project execution, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project closure. This role will also develop and execute stakeholder communication, governance, and change management strategies to support adoption and achieve measurable business outcomes.\nAs a senior member of the Innovation Solutions team, this individual will manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, partner with leadership to prioritize strategic investments, and help establish scalable project management practices that accelerate innovation across Owens & Minor and its customers.\nCore Responsibilities\nStrategic Project Leadership\nPartner with customers and internal leaders to define, prioritize, and execute strategic technology implementation projects.\nTranslate business objectives into actionable project plans with clearly defined deliverables, milestones, success metrics, and timelines.\nLead complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through successful deployment and project closeout.\nDrive project execution while navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving business requirements.\nEstablish project governance structures and facilitate decision-making processes to ensure alignment across stakeholders.\nCustomer Engagement & Implementation\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers throughout implementation projects, building trusted relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.\nDevelop a deep understanding of customer goals, operational challenges, and success criteria to drive effective solution deployment.\nLead customer-facing meetings, progress reviews, training activities, and implementation readiness assessments.\nPartner with customer stakeholders to support adoption, change management, and realization of expected business outcomes.\nProgram Management & Governance\nDevelop and maintain project charters, work plans, budgets, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and status reporting.\nFacilitate steering committee and executive governance meetings to communicate progress, escalate issues, and drive key decisions.\nEnsure project status information, risks, dependencies, financial performance, and deliverables are effectively communicated to stakeholders.\nIdentify, monitor, and proactively mitigate project risks and obstacles to maintain planned outcomes.\nAnalytics & Continuous Improvement\nPerform operational analyses, process mapping, workflow assessments, and data-driven evaluations to support project objectives.\nDefine, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project success metrics.\nUtilize data and business insights to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.\nContribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the Innovation Solutions organization.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nLead cross-functional teams across business units and functional areas to achieve project objectives.\nInfluence decisions and drive outcomes through collaboration rather than direct authority.\nBuild strong relationships across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, customer stakeholders, and operational teams.\nProvide project management subject matter expertise and mentorship to support organizational project success.\nEducation & Qualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.\n7+ years of experience leading complex, high-visibility business or technology implementation projects.\nDemonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects that achieve measurable business results.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.\nProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.\nAdvanced analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.\nAbility to travel up to 40%.\nExperience in Healthcare Project Management preferred.\nPreferred\nPMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification.\nExperience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting organization.\nExperience implementing technology, automation, digital, or operational transformation solutions.\nHealthcare, medical device, supply chain, logistics, or regulated-industry experience.\nFormal training or demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading customer-facing technology implementations and change management initiatives.\nIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
