The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.\nJob Description\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Supply Chain Planning IT Architect is responsible for providing onsite technical expertise and application support for Owens & Minor’s Supply Chain Planning platforms. This role focuses on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Snowflake Data Warehouse, SCP AI capabilities in Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and complex system integrations. The role serves as the primary onsite liaison between business stakeholders and offshore IT teams, ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and continuous improvement.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nAct as the onsite subject matter expert for Supply Chain Planning applications including SAP IBP, Snowflake, SCP AI in Snowflake, and SAP CIDS.\nProvide advanced production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes.\nDesign, support, and optimize integration architecture between SAP IBP, Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and related enterprise systems.\nCoordinate closely with Supply Chain business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nServe as the primary onsite IT point of contact, coordinating work between business teams and offshore IT resources.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation including data models, interface specifications, and operational runbooks.\nReview system performance and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and data quality.\nSupport AI/ML-driven Supply Chain Planning capabilities built within Snowflake.\nCollaborate with cross-functional global IT teams to ensure system interoperability and alignment with enterprise standards.\nSUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nOn-call support responsibilities as required.\nSupport Supply Chain Planning transformation and enhancement initiatives.\nLimited domestic and international travel as needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nDemonstrated experience working with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).\nStrong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, data modeling, and Supply Chain analytics.\nExperience designing and supporting complex system integration architectures.\nFunctional understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes including demand forecasting and inventory planning.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with global, matrixed teams.\nExperience with Agile and ITIL-based delivery methodologies.\nIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
