Reviews/establishes “best practice” processes and uses case design/reviews. Maintains ability to document and read functional and technical specifications.\nHelps to define and implement applications development best practices, standards, and processes.\nThoroughly documents application development work using established team documentation standards.\nSelf-manages workload and work assignments within an application development team that delivers projects/tasks through a software development life cycle, with an eye toward project timelines and utilization.\nPerforms additional duties as directed.\n EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)\n2 or more years of IT Applications Development experience (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, full-stack development)\nExperience with ASP.NET MVC / Razor, Entity Framework, WCF, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Ajax, and JSON\nOr any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES\nAbility to design and implement databases with SQL Server, Oracle experience preferred\nExperience with dependency injection (Ninject preferred) and Unit Testing (NUnit)\nExperience in distributed systems environments\nExperience with application integrations in complex, web-service driven, or SOA environments\nExperience evaluating / estimating work effort, controlling scope, identifying risk, resolving issues and bug fix management\nMust be able to work effectively as an individual contributor or a member of a team\nExceptional interpersonal and communications skills.\nAbility to engage clients directly to explain software solutions, answer questions on features and/or development processes when needed.\nIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
