The Intern will be involved in preparing samples for analytical evaluation and supporting the quality team in analytical problem-solving for root cause analysis within manufacturing sites. They will be responsible for maintaining lab consumable supplies while promoting proper safety practices and good housekeeping.\n\nDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nChecking and restocking consumable lab supplies\nLogging samples and updating materials database \nCalibrating and maintaining equipment \nSample preparation and basic analysis (washing, measuring, filtering, pH) \nSetting up and running samples on instruments including ICP, UV-Vis, HPLC, IC & GC-MS. \nSample data processing and results interpretation \nWorking directly with chemist and engineers who will train and supervise the student on all standard operating procedures\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\nSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:\nMust be majoring in a science field and has in interest in analytical chemistry (eg.
