operational waste, and strengthen inventory controls.\n\nDuties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:\nInventory Reconciliation & Financial Accuracy\nLead monthly inventory reconciliation processes between plant records, SAP inventory balances, and financial book inventory.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to ensure timely month-end close.\nPartner with Finance and Operations teams to validate inventory valuations and adjustment postings.\nAnalyze inventory transactions and identify trends impacting inventory accuracy and financial reporting.\nEnsure inventory adjustments are properly documented, approved, and recorded in accordance with company policies.\nPhysical Inventory & Cycle Count Leadership\nLead annual and periodic physical inventory activities across manufacturing and distribution facilities.\nDevelop and manage cycle count programs to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.\nCoordinate inventory count schedules, procedures, and execution with plant and warehouse personnel.\nMonitor cycle count results, identify recurring issues, and drive corrective actions.\nMaintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and inventory governance standards.\nSAP Inventory Management\nServe as the subject matter expert for inventory-related SAP transactions and processes.\nEnsure accurate inventory movements, material master data integrity, and transaction processing.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory-related SAP errors, discrepancies, and transactional issues.\nCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance SAP inventory controls, reporting, and system capabilities.\nSupport inventory reporting and KPI development utilizing SAP and related reporting tools.\nInventory Variance Reduction & Continuous Improvement\nLead strategic projects focused on reducing inventory variances and improving inventory accuracy.\nConduct root cause analyses on recurring inventory discrepancies and develop sustainable corrective actions.\nPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve inventory processes and controls.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, process standardization, and improved inventory visibility.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce working capital, improve inventory turns, and enhance operational efficiency.\nReporting & Performance Management\nDevelop and monitor inventory-related KPIs, including:\nInventory Accuracy\nCycle Count Accuracy\nPhysical Inventory Variances\nInventory Adjustments\nInventory Reconciliation Timeliness\nInventory Turns\nPresent inventory performance metrics and improvement recommendations to leadership.\nSupport internal and external audit requirements related to inventory controls and processes.\n\nEducation, Skills and Abilities\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.\nExperience\n5+ years of inventory planning, inventory control, supply chain, or related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.\nAdvanced experience working with SAP inventory management processes and transactions.\nExperience leading physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.\nProven track record of driving process improvements and inventory accuracy initiatives.\nExperience partnering with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.\nSkills & Competencies\nAdvanced SAP knowledge with strong understanding of inventory transactions and controls.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExpertise in inventory reconciliation and root cause analysis.\nAdvanced Excel and reporting capabilities.\nKnowledge of inventory accounting and financial impacts of inventory transactions.\nStrong project management and continuous improvement mindset.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams and lead change initiatives.\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAPICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.\nExperience with manufacturing, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory audit processes.\nLean Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experience preferred.\nExperience
