OWT Global UAS services include deployed combat flight support; integration RDT&E; training, instruction, and certification; and end-to-end UAS program management functions.\nJob Summary\nOWT Global is seeking a Computer Network Architect (Journeyman) to provide network engineering expertise in support of Integrated Systems Networks (ISN) and enterprise network environments. The Computer Network Architect will support the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of network architectures while ensuring the availability, security, and high performance connectivity required to support mission operations. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with enterprise networking, routing and switching, cloud networking, network security, troubleshooting, and distributed network environments.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise routing and switching environments.\nApply a solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, hot and cold sites, cloud, and on premise network infrastructure characteristics, drawbacks, and benefits.\nPerform deep troubleshooting and identify root causes of complex network issues.\nDiagnose issues involving VLANs, MAC addresses, routing protocols, and network connectivity.\nUnderstand and troubleshoot application issues that may or may not be caused by network failures.\nSupport Layer 2 Ethernet environments, including VXLAN, OTV, spanning tree, switching, and aggregation fundamentals.\nApply Layer 3 routing knowledge, including BGP, EIGRP, RIP, and OSPF.\nSupport network environments utilizing IKE, IKEv2, IPSEC, and MACSEC.\nTroubleshoot and support network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud connectivity.\nUnderstand and apply CSFC concepts and the differences between connectivity packages.\nPerform basic Python scripting and automate routine network tasks when appropriate.\nMonitor network performance and availability and troubleshoot issues as required.\nSkills\nAnalytical thinking and strong problem solving abilities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in technical documentation.\nAbility to collaborate effectively as part of a team.\nAdaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.\nCustomer service oriented approach.\nStrong time management and prioritization skills.\nAbility to function effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to articulate and document steps taken to resolve or troubleshoot enterprise network issues.\nExperience with network technologies, including routing, switching, VPN, SD WAN, and firewall configuration.\nExperience with cloud networking, including Azure virtual networks, ExpressRoute, and private endpoints.\nExperience with security technologies, including Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and encryption standards.\nExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools for network performance and availability.\nExperience\n4 to 8 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud networking.\nExperience designing and operating enterprise network architectures across hybrid environments.\nHands on experience with cloud networking.\nExperience supporting geographically distributed organizations with multiple sites and remote users.\nExperience working in regulated environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting SCIF or secure facility network environments.\nFamiliarity with CSFC and Type One encryption methods.\nAttained industry recognized certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or comparable certifications.
