This is a field-facing, hands-on role for a genuine marine enthusiast who is equally comfortable diagnosing a diesel outboard at a marina and presenting technical findings in a corporate setting. This position reports to Head of US operations and Global Technical Service Manager.\nAs TAM, you will be the primary technical point of contact for dealers, distributors, and end customers across your region. You will work closely with the Aftermarket team - and at times collaborate with Engineering and Sales - making this a varied and dynamic position where no two days are the same.\nThis role requires regular domestic travel and occasional international travel to support installations, service calls, and dealer development. A successful candidate will have the attitude of getting the job done all the way, with responsibility to the end and ensuring a positive customer service experience for end users.\nKey Responsibilities\nField Support & Customer Service\nConduct site visits to support customers with engine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.\nConduct commissioning of engines including sea trials and HAT and SAT documentation.\nServe as the primary technical liaison for dealers, distributors, and end users in your region.\nEnsure customer cases are followed through from initial contact to final resolution.\nMonitor and respond to technical support requests in a timely and professional manner.\nWarranty & Quality\nOversee and administer the warranty process for your area, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.\nIdentify, report, and track product quality issues, both internally and externally.\nReview and quality-check field service reports and technical documentation before submission.\nMake qualified recommendations to the Engineering team based on field observations and recurring issues.\nDealer & Distributor Development\nMonitor and evaluate dealer and distributor technical competence within your network.\nSupport and guide dealers in technical matters, service processes, and OXE product knowledge.\nAssist in business plan development for dealers looking to expand their OXE service and sales capabilities.\nContribute to the development and delivery of training programs for the dealer network.\nOperational & Administrative\nMaintain accurate installation records, field reports, and service documentation.\nCommunicate relevant technical and operational information between internal departments.\nParticipate in the continuous improvement of aftermarket processes, reporting structures, and digital tools.\nRepresent OXE Marine professionally in all customer and partner interactions.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\n6-8 years of experience in the marine service industry or working with marine propulsion systems\nStrong mechanical and/or electrical background with hands-on diagnostic skills\nSolid knowledge of diesel engines, preferably common rail systems\nPractical understanding of outboard engine installation and vessel integration\nValid US boat license and ability to obtain a passport for international travel\nStrong communication skills in English, written and spoken.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a remote working environment\nCustomer-oriented, service-minded, and solution-focused\nHighly Advantageous\nEngineering degree or equivalent technical education\nExperience with marine electrical systems and integrated vessel electronics\nBackground in dealer development, technical training, or field service management\nFamiliarity with warranty administration and quality reporting processes\nComfortable working with CRM, digital reporting tools, and service platforms\nAdditional language skills are considered an advantage, such as Spanish.\nCompensation & Benefits\nOXE Marine Inc. offers a competitive compensation package including:\n401(k) with employer matching · Health, dental & vision insurance · Life insurance\nEmployee assistance program · Paid time off · Flexible schedule\nMonday to Friday.
