You'll find yourself working in cross-functional teams with software developers and project teams to deliver test plans, test cases, automated tests and reports on functional and non-functional requirements in a fast-paced agile environment.\nOther responsibilities include:\nTesting software releases by carrying out assigned tests\nGenerating and completing test cases based on requirements\nDesigning tests to mitigate risk\nWriting bug reports and providing objective feedback to software development teams\nPlatform testing to include: desktop, tablet and mobile across Linux, OSX and Windows\nWorking towards departmental and project deadlines\nCommunicating findings to technical and non-technical colleagues\nWhat We're Looking For...\nWe'll expect you to have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience and professional qualifications. You'll also be experienced in automated testing with proven knowledge of testing desktop and/or mobile software.\nYou have the following experience:\nProgramming language such as Python or JavaScript\nWriting automated tests in a framework such as Pytest, Jest, Robot or Behave\nWriting UI tests in a framework such as WebdriverIO, Cypress or any Selenium based framework\nA solid understanding of the software development life-cycle and testing methodologies\nNice to haves include experience and knowledge of the following:\nBehaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach\nReST API and/or gRPC\nVirtualisation technology such as Docker\nLinux/Unix\nJIRA and XRay Test Management for JIRA\nTesting for medical device softwar\nAs liaising with a variety of different collaborators is a regular part of this role, we're looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an approachable manner that encourages interaction with others.
