Oxus uses AI to automate this work while preserving the traceability, reviewability, and judgment that audit requires.\nWe’re a founding team of three MIT grads and are backed by Y Combinator, Paul Graham, Mathilde Collin, Depth Ventures, Robinhood Ventures, and more.\nWe're looking for our first Founding Auditor to help define how great audit work gets done with AI.\nWhat You'll Do\nSit at the intersection of audit, product, and go-to-market \nWork directly with internal audit leaders and teams across prospects, pilots, and customers to understand their methodologies and pain points, support adoption, and expand their use of Oxus\nPartner with the founders on go-to-market and join sales and demo conversations\nReview AI-generated audit work and ensure outputs meet the quality, rigor, and documentation standards expected from experienced auditors\nWork closely with engineers to translate audit methodology and judgment into product workflows\nPerform real audit workflows in Oxus, test new AI capabilities, and identify where they need to improve\nBuild audit methodologies, evaluation datasets, and standards for measuring AI output quality\nTurn what you learn into scalable improvements across the product, audit methodology, and customer experience\nYour First Three Months\nWeek one: Use Oxus to complete and review real audit workflows, and join customer and prospect calls\nMonth one: Contribute to demos and pilots + own audit quality for key product workflows and work directly with engineering to improve them\nQuarter one: Own a meaningful area of Oxus's audit methodology and customer motion, proactively driving improvements across product, adoption, and go-to-market\nWho We're Looking For\n5+ years of audit experience across Big 4 external audit, internal audit, SOX, or related experience\nDeep knowledge of SOX and internal audit, business process controls, ITGCs, process walkthroughs, D&I, TOD/TOE, evidence collection, sampling, workpapers, risk assessments, and audit reporting\nExcellent audit judgment and attention to detail\nMoves quickly while maintaining a high bar for quality\nStrong communicator who is comfortable working directly with CAEs, audit leaders, and other senior stakeholders\nWilling to question how audit has traditionally been done and rethink what's possible with AI\nWilling to take on work outside a narrowly defined job description\nExcited to work intensely alongside the founding team. Expected hours are around 9-5 on weekdays, with occasional work on weekends. This role can be remote/hybrid, with opportunities to work with the team in San Francisco.\nYou do not need to be an engineer or have traditional sales experience.
