This includes knowledge and skills to maintain equipment reliability of various pumps, compression (screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating packages), and associated plant equipment.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nUnderstands and follows process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and single line diagrams\nIdentifies the standards related to installations in hazardous areas.\nObtains accurate and specialized measuring and testing devices\nRecognizes all safety precautions to be taken while using measuring and testing devices.\nUnderstands and utilizes alignment, lubricant, and mechanical principles.\nDemonstrates a general awareness of the safe way to utilize hand and power tools, how to the correct tools for the job and how to dispose of damaged or faulty hand or power tools in accordance with approved procedures.\nUnderstands vibrations principles and applies them to jobs.(i.e. explain what vibration is, why it occurs, how to measure vibration, interpret and analyze the reasons of vibration for safe operation)\nCreates and operationalizes plans to rig and lift a load in a safe manner, utilize correct procedures and methods and recognize and protect personnel from hazards\nChecks for own understanding of others communication (e.g. repeat, paraphrase, or ask questions).\nOrganizes facts and ideas, incorporating relevant data, information and examples before communicating or presenting in a meeting.\nUses systems to organize and keep track of information relevant to job duties and communicates status as requested\nSeeks assistance in determining priorities when appropriate.\nTracks maintenance activity, bad actors, and cost that is associated with each piece of equipment\nQualifications\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\nExperience:4+ years oilfield experience preferred, with a preferred background in reciprocating compressor Maintenance or pump maintenance\nSkills and Competencies\nMust have valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record\nWorking knowledge of CO2 operations preferred\nKnowledge of Maximo or similar program to track equipment inventory, repairs, and costs\nStrong technical and/or mechanical aptitude\nStrong personal commitment to a clean and safe work place\nTeam player, self-starter, committed to excellence\nMust have a valid Driver's license and an acceptable driving record\nWillingness to travel and/or commute to multiple job sites\nRecruitment Fraud\nIt has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
