This role ensures reliable production through disciplined operations, effective troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\n- Execute all work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements\n- Operate and maintain assigned production facilities, including startups, shutdowns, and routine adjustments\n- Monitor facility performance using field observations and surveillance tools; identify and respond to abnormal conditions\n- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions within scope of responsibility\n- Utilize digital surveillance tools (e.g., SCADA, PI, field mobility platforms) to optimize production and identify risk\n- Maintain working knowledge of facility systems, including separation, compression, and flow paths\n- Support artificial lift operations through understanding of system impacts on surface performance\n- Communicate effectively through shift handovers, status updates, and escalation of issues\n- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IOC, maintenance, engineering, and vendors\n- Complete required documentation, reporting, and data entry accurately and on time\n- Prioritize daily activities based on safety, production impact, and operational risk\n- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency\n- Engage in T3 training program and actively progress through competency development levels\nCore Competencies\n- Safety & Compliance\n- Hazard Recognition & Risk Mitigation\n- Operational Awareness & Judgment\n- Surveillance & Data Interpretation\n- Facility & System Understanding\n- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving\n- Communication & Collaboration\n- Administrative Discipline\n- Productivity & Prioritization\n- Continuous Learning & Development\nMinimum Qualifications\n- High school diploma or equivalent required\n- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record\n- Ability to work in field environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions\n- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability\n- Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\n- Previous oil & gas or industrial operations experience\n- Familiarity with production facilities, compression, or artificial lift systems\n- Experience with SCADA systems, PI, or other surveillance tools\n- Technical certification or relevant vocational training\n- Strong computer skills and experience with field mobility platforms\nWork Environment & Schedule\n- Field-based role with travel between production facilities\n- May require on-call rotation, overtime, and weekend work as needed\n- Exposure to noise, chemicals, and outdoor conditions\nPhysical Requirements\n- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as required\n- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and walk long distances in field conditions\n- Ability to wear required PPE and perform duties safely in operational environments\nRecruitment Fraud\nIt has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
