Support and monitor on-site production of P2i nanocoating processes and ensure all production follows the SOP’s and Work Instructions. Assist in process adjustments and provide troubleshooting and machine maintenance.\n(see https://www.p2i.com/support/ for P2i manufacturing process)\nMain Responsibilities\nMachine trouble shooting and repair (Electrical & Mechanical)\nPreventative maintenance\nNew site facility audits, installation, set up and production training to operators\nMachine upgrades, assembly & validation\nDaily machine maintenance checks\nMonitor daily operation & ensure operators follow P2i procedure\nReplacement of consumable materials and stock replenishment\nMachine quality issue identification, escalation & remedial suggestion\nProduct coating performance quality issue identification & correction\nUpdate production, maintenance, upgrade & validation records\nAdditional Responsibilities\nSupport other sites by travel if assigned\nInvolve in NPI trial run to transfer from pilot stage to mass production\nEnsure Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met\nProcess optimization including recommendation for customers’ on-site process flow improvement\nKey Relationships and Interfaces\nP2i Service & Support staff, P2i Operations management, P2i Technical sales support, P2i Product specialists, Operators and customers.\nAcademic Qualifications\nBachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with electronics or similar/equivalent.\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\n3 years or above in a similar position in thin film or nano coating equipment such as CVD, PECVD, PVD, etc.\nDemonstrated capability of machine electro-mechanical problem solving and troubleshooting.\nBroad technical skills (electrical/electronic/mechanical)\nAbility to read electrical/circuit/wiring diagrams\nKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum for processing & validation\nFlexibility to travel if assigned/requested\nDetail-oriented in data recording and root cause analysis\nHigh level in written and oral English\nGood Excel/Word/Power Point (MS Office) skills and ability to create reports\nDesirable\nKnowledge of PLC operation.\nBehaviours\nEssential\nA good team player with clear communication skills and customer awareness but has ability to work on his or her own initiative\nProactive & Self-disciplined in delivering the tasks required with minimal supervision\nFlexibility in work hours, over time and vacations to meet service level agreements with customers\nDesirable\nFlexibility for travel\nGeneric Health & Safety Responsibilities\nTake reasonable care of your own health and safety\nTake reasonable care not to put other people -
