You combine technical expertise with a hands-on approach to turn product and project requirements into robust production concepts. From assembly line planning and equipment specification to commissioning and continuous improvement, you work closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to bring manufacturing solutions from concept to reality.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nYou develop assembly and manufacturing concepts, including work plans, investment plans, assembly line layouts, and project timelines.\nYou support acquisition and quotation projects from a production engineering perspective, providing technical input for manufacturing concepts and investment requirements. \nYou define technical requirements and prepare RFQs for production equipment, evaluate manufacturing solutions, and coordinate with equipment suppliers throughout implementation.\nYou coordinate the integration, installation, commissioning, and launch of new assembly equipment and products, ensuring alignment with project requirements and production needs.\nYou prepare, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing documentation, including Process FMEAs (PFMEA), value stream analyses, and standardized work instructions.\nYou analyze production processes and evaluate workforce utilization, space requirements, material and process flows, equipment placement, and workplace layouts to improve operational efficiency. \nYou define technical specifications for the procurement of equipment, materials, and components, taking product specifications and applicable quality requirements into consideration. \nYou identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, quality, and ergonomics and help translate them into practical solutions on the shop floor.\nYou serve as a technical interface to the customer, clarifying manufacturing requirements and contributing to the development of new production solutions. \nYou collaborate with production, quality, logistics, project management, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to solve technical challenges and ensure successful implementation.\nYou provide hands-on engineering support during critical project and launch phases, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and coordinating corrective actions.\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.\nYou bring 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive industry. \nYou have a solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, production equipment, line layouts, and industrialization.\nYou have experience with manufacturing quality and process-planning methods such as PFMEA, value stream analysis, and standardized work.\nYou bring strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills and are comfortable working directly with manufacturing equipment and production processes.\nYou have experience working with CAD applications and are comfortable interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing layouts. \nYou are proficient with Microsoft Office; experience working with SAP or comparable ERP systems is an advantage.\nYou work in a structured and independent manner, effectively managing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment. \nYou communicate confidently with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders and enjoy working as part of a collaborative project team.\nYou demonstrate ownership and are comfortable taking the lead on technical topics within your area of responsibility. \nYou are comfortable with extensive travel (up to 100% of your working time), typically Monday through Friday, depending on client and project needs.\nYou are legally authorized to work in the U.S.\nGOOD TO KNOW\nWe offer a competitive salary with bonus potential.\nYou get up to 20 days PTO and 10 paid company holidays.\nYou can get healthcare, life insurance, dental & vision, 401(k) matching.\nWe invest in your growth with mentorship and a strong learning culture.\nYou contribute directly to advancing innovation in the sectors we operate in.\nYou’ll take ownership of your work and see the direct results of your efforts.\nWe foster an entrepreneurial spirit.
