Bringing Ingenuity to Life.\n An example of some key technologies for our current projects are Software Defined Radio, high-speed networking and ‘hardsec’ but clients often approach us with unique challenges that require a creative outlook and an adaptable skill set.\nWe are looking for candidates with the following technical skills:\nRF Circuit Design and TestingDesigning and simulating RF circuits (amplifiers, oscillators, mixers).\nExperience with PCB layout for high-frequency signals.\nHands-on testing with spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators.\n\nAntenna Design and MeasurementDesigning, simulating, and optimizing antennas.\nConducting antenna pattern measurements and gain tests.\nWireless Communication Systems\n\nWorking with protocols and standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, etc.).\nFamiliarity with modulation schemes and multiplexing techniques.\nRF simulation software (ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB) for circuit/antenna/system design.\nGood experience within wider digital electronics and embedded systems engineering fields\nExposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product release including demonstrable experience of delivering your designs into service / mass production.\nPossession of a good understanding of the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU and US and a proven track record of designing for compliance with appropriate standards.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience.\nAnd the following qualities:\nSomeone not afraid to be ‘Hands-on’ and work with the team to work through challenges from first principles on the bench.\nEnergy and enthusiasm to take on unfamiliar challenges, coupled with the ability to innovate and think freely.\nEnthusiasm to help build the careers of our less experienced engineers.\n This is a challenging role, so we expect experience to be reinforced by a strong academic background.\nDegree qualified - a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject\nThe ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired (in practice, this requires sole UK nationality)\n Please note that the interview stages may be subject to change based on the specific requirements of the role.\nQuick call with one of our Tech Recruiters - to discuss your application, the role and PA \nRound 1: Either a competency or technical interview (60 mins) \nRound 2: Either a competency or technical interview, whichever you didn’t do at first round (60 mins) \nFinal round : Meeting with a PA leader - a mini case study and discussion around your client-centricity (60 mins) \nLife At PA encompasses our peoples' experience at PA.
