Become part of the new paradigm in gene sequencing and help shape the future of genomic study by joining the PacBio team.\nPosition Summary:\nReporting to the General Manager of APAC, this role entails leading the implementation of PacBio's commercial strategies in Korea. The primary objective is to meet and surpass annual sales targets within designated territories.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage the Korea commercial team to drive business growth.\nAchieve or exceed annual and quarterly revenue targets for Korea.\nDevelop, implement, and monitor the country plan to meet objectives.\nConduct regular business and quarterly growth plans reviews with the Korea team and Channel partners.\nManage opportunities diligently using SFDC; develop and review the Korea district and territory business plan monthly with the APAC management team.\nCoordinate communication and engagement with APAC Management and Marketing teams to ensure an effective go-to-market strategy in Korea.\nEnsure proper training and resourcing of channel partners or local distributors; influence throughout the sales cycle.\nDevelop a hybrid (i.e., Direct and Indirect) sales strategy to augment all aspects of PacBio business\nBuild relationships with Channel Partners, customers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).\nExecute regular pipeline reporting and forecasting calls with local channel partners.\nCultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders, developing them into reference sites and develop strategies to cross the chasm and build beachheads.\nLead overall commercial activities through direct and indirect reports.\nGuide Korea sales team members to surpass sales targets.\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.\nAdvocate for country requirements and mindshare to establish a foundation for long-term growth.\nLiaise closely with APAC Marketing, Support, and Sales teams to coordinate activities and implement APAC strategy and common goals successfully.\nCoordinate lead generation activities with Regional Marketing and Channel Partners to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.\nAssist in coordinating regional events such as conferences, user group meetings, seminars, workshops, and seminar series.\nIncrease brand awareness and market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities through various strategies.\nInspire and motivate team members to achieve projected sales plans.\nPresent monthly and/or quarterly business reviews for performance monitoring and corrective actions.\nFoster a sense of urgency and drive accountability within the regional team to meet financial and strategic goals.\nEnsure adherence to the company’s vision, mission, and values at all times.\nMinimum Requirements:\nA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or business administration.\nExceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills, combined with excellent writing and editing skills.\nFluency in Korean and strong in English.\n5 years of sales experience in working for a capital instrument and reagent company.\n50% travel at a minimum.\nPreferred Experience/Skills/Education:\nA master’s degree or higher is preferred.\nNGS and/or sequencing business experience is highly preferred.\n10 years of industry experience preferred.\nYou may be required from time to time to visit and work at PacBio locations and for such times as the Company considers necessary for the proper performance of your duties.\nAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability, gender identity, and sexual orientation.\n.\n#LI-Onsite\nSalary Range:\n₩74,885,400 - ₩197,479,800To all Staffing and Recruiting Agencies: Our Careers Site is only for individuals seeking a job at PacBio.
