the future of transportation.\n\nKey Responsibilities –\n\nSupport development, modification, and verification of software models using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow following established engineering processes.\nSupport analysis of software and system requirements and maintain requirement traceability under guidance.\nSupport development and execution of unit test cases and software verification activities.\nApply software development knowledge throughout the SDLC.\nSupport defect analysis, debugging, and issue resolution activities to improve software quality and reliability\nDevelop and modify Python scripts under guidance to support automation and engineering activities.\nFollow established ASPICE, ISO 26262, and organizational processes and standards during software development activities.\nLearn and use Git/SVN for version control and management of software models, test cases, and development artifacts.\nCollaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support software development and project activities.\nApply and expand automotive domain knowledge while supporting development and validation activities\n\nEducation Requirements\n\nBachelor's Degree in Electronics engineering, Automotive engineering or related Engineering discipline.\n\nKnowledge & Skills REQUIRED\n\n1-3 Year of overall experience\nMATLAB, Simulink & Stateflow – Basic knowledge of model-based development for implementation, simulation, and verification of embedded software functions.\nRequirements Analysis & Traceability – Understanding of software requirements, requirement decomposition, and maintenance of traceability between requirements and deliverables\nMIL & SIL Testing – Exposure to Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing for software verification and validation activities.\nSoftware Debugging & Defect Analysis – Ability to identify software issues, analyze test results, and support debugging and defect resolution activities\n\nKnowledge & Skills DESIRED\n\nPython Programming – Basic scripting knowledge to support automation, data analysis, and engineering productivity improvements.\nAutomotive Communication Protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS) – Familiarity with vehicle communication networks and diagnostic protocols used for software development and testing.\nConfiguration Management Tools – Familiarity with version control and configuration management practices used in software development projects.\nAutomotive Embedded Systems – Basic understanding of ECU software architecture, vehicle functions, and embedded system development principles\n\nCompetencies And Behaviours\n\nDemonstrates responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables while working within established processes and guidance.\nApply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and support effective technical solutions.\nDemonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills and collaborates productively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.\nEffectively plans and manages assigned work, prioritizes tasks, and supports project objectives
