the future of transportation.\n\nKey Responsibilities –\n\nDevelop, modify, and verify software models using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow following model-based development practices.\nAnalyze software and system requirements and maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and verification activities.\nDevelop and execute Unit Test cases and support software verification activities.\nSupport software development activities across the software development lifecycle, including implementation, verification, defect resolution, and release activities.\nPerform defect analysis, debugging, and issue resolution to support high-quality software delivery.\nDevelop Python scripts to support engineering automation, data analysis, and process efficiency improvements.\nFollow and support compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and organizational development processes and standards\nUse Git/SVN for configuration management, version control, and maintenance of software models and development artifacts.\nCollaborate with internal teams, Automotive OEMs, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and support project delivery.\nApply automotive domain knowledge to develop and validate vehicle functionalities\n\nEducation Requirements\n\nBachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline.\n\nKnowledge & Skills REQUIRED\n\n2-5 Year of overall experience\nIn Model-based development, simulation, implementation, and verification of embedded software functions using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.\nRequirements Analysis & Traceability – Ability to analyze software and system requirements, maintain requirement traceability, and ensure alignment between requirements, implementation, and verification activities.\nExperience executing Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing to verify software functionality and validate requirements\nSoftware Debugging & Defect Analysis – Ability to investigate software issues, perform debugging, analyze root causes, and support timely resolution of defects.\nEmbedded Software Development – Understanding of embedded software development lifecycle, software architecture, coding practices, and verification activities for automotive applications\n\nKnowledge & Skills DESIRED\n\nPython Programming – Experience developing scripts to support automation, data analysis, test execution, and engineering productivity improvements.\nAutomotive Communication Protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS) – Understanding of vehicle communication networks and diagnostic protocols used in software development, testing, and troubleshooting activities.\nASPICE & ISO 26262 – Knowledge of automotive software development processes and functional safety standards, with the ability to follow established compliance requirements.\nConfiguration Management Tools – Experience using version control and configuration management tools to support software development and change management activities.\nAutomotive Embedded Systems – Knowledge of ECU software architecture, vehicle functions, and interactions between embedded systems within automotive applications\n\nCompetencies And Behaviours\n\nDemonstrates responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables while working within established processes and guidance.\nApply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and support effective technical solutions.\nDemonstrates effective verbal and
