Teachers at this level are invested in students’ academic, emotional and character development. Associate Teachers assist the Homeroom Teacher in creating a dynamic learning environment for every student. They help manage daily classroom tasks and have teaching and supervisory responsibilities as assigned by the Homeroom Teacher. They are eager to grow as educators and learn from the Homeroom Teacher, the leadership team and faculty.\nThe ideal candidate has been successful in a collaborative setting, exhibits good judgment and possesses excellent communication skills. Enthusiasm for teaching, especially young students, is a critical quality. Pace actively seeks candidates from historically underrepresented populations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIs committed to the success of every student in the classroom\n\nConfers with the Homeroom Teacher on student progress and daily classroom tasks\n\nEffectively incorporates principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of Lower School life\n\nModels and reinforces the Noble Knights Pillars of Character\n\nPerforms supervisory duties, including instruction in specific learning areas, and early morning duties\n\nParticipates in regular faculty and professional meetings and teacher training workshops and is committed to learning best practices with colleagues\n\nAttends after-school faculty meetings, evening parent gatherings and weekend admissions events as necessary\n\nOther duties may be assigned\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S) required;
