Serves as a technical resource and team lead for facility-related functions, providing guidance, prioritization, and oversight of maintenance activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance. Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred.\nEssential Functions\nServes as the lead facilities resource for assigned operations, coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities.\nProvides technical leadership, guidance, and training to facilities, laboratory support, and operations personnel regarding maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and facility best practices.\nAbility to participate in on-call rotations to support facilities operations.\nOversees glass washing operations.\nLeads the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of stability chambers and associated environmental systems.\nCoordinates and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities across facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical equipment, painting, and general building maintenance.\nServes as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, conducting assessments, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.\nCoordinates and oversees work performed by contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.\nReviews, maintains, and audits maintenance records, logs, work orders, databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.\nAssists management in developing, implementing, and continuously improving maintenance programs, policies, procedures, and operational practices.\nIdentifies opportunities for process improvements, equipment reliability enhancements, energy efficiency initiatives, and cost reduction measures.\nSupports facility projects, equipment installations, renovations, and capital improvement initiatives from planning through execution.\nProvides recommendations to management regarding facility upgrades, maintenance priorities, resource allocation, and operational improvements.\nHelps ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies and quality standards.\nParticipates in facility audits, inspections, and corrective action activities, ensuring timely resolution of identified deficiencies.\nContributes to departmental effectiveness by fostering collaboration, accountability, customer service, and a culture of continuous improvement.\nPromotes and supports the overall mission of Pace® by demonstrating leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence when interacting with customers and staff.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
