In this role, you will oversee a broad range of operational programs and activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, financial performance, and exceptional service delivery.\nYou'll serve as a key partner to both site and corporate leadership while leading managers and teams responsible for delivering trusted scientific solutions to our customers.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and direct the implementation of facility goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards.\nLead the preparation, management, and administration of facility budgets and operational resources.\nDevelop, implement, and oversee operational and service programs, initiatives, and systems across assigned functions.\nProvide strategic direction for laboratory, service, field, and operational activities within the facility.\nPlan, organize, administer, evaluate, and develop the performance of assigned managers and staff.\nLead and participate in operational, monthly, and cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and business results.\nEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, institutional, and industry regulations and standards.\nIdentify operational risks, investigate incidents and exposures, and recommend appropriate corrective actions and remediation plans.\nCompile, analyze, and present operational and service performance metrics to senior leadership.\nRecommend improvements to organizational policies, procedures, and operational practices.\nLead special projects, identify priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and evaluate outcomes.\nMonitor industry trends, regulatory updates, emerging technologies, and best practices impacting laboratory and operational services.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.\nPromote Pace®'s mission and values through collaborative leadership and professional interactions with employees and customers.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Operations, or a closely related field and seven (7) years of managerial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nExpert knowledge of service and operational administration principles, practices, and techniques.\nStrong leadership experience in goal setting, program development, implementation, evaluation, and employee management.\nProven ability to build high-performing teams, motivate employees, and lead within a collaborative environment.\nExperience developing and administering budgets and managing financial performance.\nKnowledge of applicable service and operational laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.\nStrong understanding of operational planning, program development, and organizational effectiveness.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.\nProficiency with computer systems and business applications related to operational management.\nAbility to interpret, apply, and explain laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.\nDemonstrated success managing multiple priorities and exercising sound judgment and decision-making.\nAbility to prepare clear, concise reports, correspondence, and recommendations for all levels of the organization.\nStrong consulting, coaching, and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, including situations requiring diplomacy, tact, and discretion.\nWhy Pace®?\nAt Pace®, you'll have the opportunity to lead talented teams, drive operational excellence, and contribute to work that protects human health and the environment.
