Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.\nSUMMARY:\nResponsible for providing administrative support to project management and sample receiving, while delivering high-quality customer service to all clients.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nReview, complete, and process standard project management forms, documents, databases, and related materials.\nProvide basic interpretation and guidance to staff and leadership on project management policies, programs, and practices for routine operations.\nConduct research and assist in resolving employee, management, and customer inquiries; coordinate responses as needed.\nSupport project activities, including client communication, verification of sample check-in, monitoring analysis status, responding to inquiries, and assisting with invoicing.\nDirect client calls and requests to the appropriate project manager for follow-up.\nAssist in project management or cross-functional initiatives, including support with timelines, materials, and coordination of resources.\nInterpret and apply department policies, procedures, and applicable laws or regulations; seek guidance as needed.\nContribute to departmental efficiency through continuous improvement and active participation in team initiatives.\nPromote and support Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, cooperative interactions that foster a positive work environment.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED; AND two (2) years of administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\nRequired Knowledge:\nDepartment policies, procedures, and functions.\nBasic understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.\nFamiliarity with standard testing tools, equipment, and calibration.\nComputer applications and systems related to the work.\nPrinciples of effective teamwork and project participation.\nCommunication methods for interacting with staff, customers, and stakeholders.\nProper business English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.\nRequired Skills:\nTraining others on policies and procedures.\nSupporting project coordination and execution.\nWorking effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nInterpreting and applying applicable laws, regulations, and policies.\nPreparing reports, correspondence, and other written materials.\nExercising initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.\nDemonstrating tact, discretion, and professionalism in all interactions.\nDelivering presentations to varied audiences.\nContributing to team goals and organizational objectives.\nBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships.\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work in both laboratory and office environments and use standard equipment.\nAbility to sit for extended periods.\nAbility to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.\nVision to read printed materials and computer screens.\nHearing and verbal communication skills for in-person and telephone interactions.\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
