Develops and manages intake processes, ensures consistency in project management practices, develops project health scorecards, and delivers reporting to leadership.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nDefines and maintains Project Management Office (PMO) processes and the overall project management approach for initiatives.\nDevelops and manages work plans, including integrated plans across initiatives.\nPartners with key stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.\nEstablishes and tracks key performance metrics for project execution and reporting.\nPrepares and delivers regular status reports, including project health updates and monthly summaries.\nMonitors the effectiveness of actions taken and continuously improves program performance.\nIdentifies, documents, and tracks project risks and issues.\nManages cross-functional team risks and issues; escalates concerns as appropriate.\nDevelops and maintains governance models, including stakeholder structures and meeting cadences.\nIdentifies gaps and implements corrective or preventative action plans.\nContributes to departmental efficiency by recommending improvements and actively participating in team initiatives.\nPromotes and supports the mission of Pace through professional, cooperative interactions with customers and staff.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field; AND five (5) years of program or project management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nRequired Knowledge and Skills\nRequired Knowledge:\nOperational practices related to continuous improvement, process design, and systems effectiveness.\nStrategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.\nEffective communication methods for working with staff, stakeholders, and customers.\nTechniques for influencing and driving behavioral or organizational change.\nMethods for delivering constructive feedback and supporting professional development.\nPrinciples and techniques for effective oral presentations.\nRelevant computer applications and systems.\nProper business English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.\nTechniques for interacting with diverse individuals in person and via telephone.\nRequired Skills:\nPlanning, organizing, and managing complex programs and projects.\nDeveloping and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.\nCollaborating effectively across teams, leadership, and customer groups.\nFacilitating alignment and resolving differences among stakeholders.\nApplying critical thinking and problem-solving to evaluate solutions and outcomes.\nInterpreting and applying standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.\nDemonstrating strong decision-making and analytical skills.\nCommunicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.\nManaging multiple priorities and driving projects to completion.\nUtilizing project management tools, systems, and software.\nExercising initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.\nContributing to team and organizational goals.\nBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships.\nPHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work in an office environment.\nUse of standard office equipment.\nAbility to sit for extended periods.\nOccasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.\nVisual ability to read printed materials and computer screens.\nAbility to communicate effectively in person and via telephone.\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nWork is performed in an office setting.
