This will include biopsy prep, protein handling and assays, and general lab maintenance that supports the development of a variety of healthcare products.\nCompensation: $22.00 - 24.00 per hour\nNOTE: Role is expected to last 6 month s\nResponsibilities\nCompleting Biopsy prep of samples.\nPreparing samples and solutions for LC or LC-MS analysis.\nWill be conducting protein quantification.\nGeneral laboratory activities and instrumentation potentially including: pipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters, autoclaves and analytical balances\nGeneral laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance.\nDisposes of laboratory materials and samples using well-established guidelines and instructions.\nRequirements\nMinimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology or related science \n1-2 years of experience with protein extraction, quantification, and general handling\nExperience using centrifuges, plate readers, and pipettes\nExperience using Microsoft Excel for data processing and visualization\nExperience with processing and handling tissue samples preferred.\nHPLC instrument and software experience would be a plus.\nGood deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving\nAble to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven\nAble to communicate effectively\nThis position will require good time management skills and a high level of independence after the training phase. Good organizational skills, record keeping and follow through will be integral to success.
