Performs regular inspections, monitors all contracted activities, and performs minor repairs as required to keep the facilities in good working order and appearance. Maintains an inventory of supplies and inspection documents and performs other duties as assigned or required. This position covers the entire Pace service area. Essential functions include:\nEnsuring that all facility systems are functioning properly, making minor repairs as necessary, and promptly reporting deficiencies. \nConducting facility inspections of exterior areas, including parking lots and bus drives, for appearance and noticeable concerns.\nConducting inspections of interior facility areas to assess appearance and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order. \nMaintaining inventory of supplies for facilities and maintaining inspection documents and company vehicle maintenance documentation. \nPerforming other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\nAge:\nMust be 21 years of age or older.\nEducation:\nMust have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.\nExperience:\nMust have general knowledge of maintenance and facilities.\nCertifications:\nMust have, or obtain within 90 of being hired, a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsements.\nProficiencies:\nMust have the ability to operate all Pace equipment and have a complete set of hand tools sufficient to perform the duties of the position.\nMust be able to read and interpret blueprints and maintenance manuals.\nMust have the knowledge and skills to perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on buildings and facility systems, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, and capable of lifting 75 pounds to waist height, maintaining and carrying that weight for a minimum of ten feet.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is performed both indoors and outdoors where the employee may be exposed to loud noises and/or inclement weather. This is a safety-sensitive position. The performance of these duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
