You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.\nCandidate will evaluate EHS facilities and processes with respect to potential hazards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.\nCompensation: $22.00 - 28.00 per hour\nWhat you’ll do\nWork with client to ensure compliance with facility environmental, health, and safety policies and other applicable regulatory agencies\nConduct industrial hygiene sampling, such as noise dosimetry and air monitoring\nSchedule and conduct respirator fit testing for employees\nAssist with process hazard analysis and risk analysis assessments\nConduct environmental, health, and safety training\nCoordinate sitewide safety initiatives\nWork with business to audit daily work permits and report findings to supervisors\nComplete ergonomic assessments of process tasks\nOther Health and Safety tasks as needed by client\nThis role may include environmental responsibilities, such as:\nCollect and process wastewater samples and interpret results for reporting\nCoordinate various environmental sampling events and order and prep sampling supplies\nUtilize air emission modeling software to track pollutant outputs\nAssist with regulatory agency permitting processes for environmental compliance\nCreate and manage waste stream profiles for the processing of hazardous waste\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline\n1-2 years professional Environmental Health and Safety experience preferred\nSafety experience in a manufacturing or pilot plant setting preferred\nPossess high-level problem-solving skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills\nBe a team player, have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be self-motivated and results-oriented, and be highly productive\nResponsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.\nU.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain \"non-U.S. persons\" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, \"Temporary Residents\" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum (but excluding persons in nonimmigrant status such as H-1B, L-1, F-1, etc.) or non-U.S. citizens.\nFind Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.\nBenefits\nWhen you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
