Combining the most technologically advanced cloud-native software, research-grade data, and seamless integrations, PaceMateLIVE™, the company’s flagship remote monitoring software platform, is enabling many of the nation’s most renowned electrophysiologists, device clinics, and healthcare systems to effectively manage their device patient populations. With PaceMate, healthcare organizations can experience comprehensive interoperability and secure data exchange-significantly improving patient outcomes, reimbursements, and productivity.\nJoin our team\nJoining the PaceMate™ Team means becoming a vital part of a group that is dedicated to using technology to benefit patients, caregivers, and hospital administrators while driving healthy turnkey solutions that identify lost revenues and inefficiencies.\nWe are seeking a Product Lead, Integrations to own how PaceMateLIVE connects to everything around it: electronic medical records, device manufacturer data feeds, third-party services, and the integrations that live inside our own platform.\nThis is technically difficult data integration work, and that is the appeal of the job. The data behind cardiac remote monitoring is genuinely hard to move well: proprietary device feeds, EMR implementations that differ from site to site, and clinical information that has to arrive complete, correct, and on time. The work is figuring out how that data should be structured, specified, and productized, not coordinating it.\nWhat interests us most is whether you have done hard integration work and owned it as a product, meaning the data model, the edge cases, the documentation, and the standard other teams build against, rather than delivering it as a one-off project. Integrations with enterprise systems of record like Oracle, NetSuite, or Salesforce are a good illustration of the kind of difficulty we mean, but they are an illustration, not a requirement.\nThis is a technical product role. You will spend your time in data structures, feed specifications, API contracts, and failure modes, close enough to the detail to know whether an integration actually works, and close enough to the data to know how it gets captured and what can be built on top of it.\nAI fluency is core to how the work gets done: this role uses AI tools daily for prototyping, research synthesis, and drafting specs and release materials, and carries ongoing ownership of AI prompts and data-capture patterns within the integrations domain.\nPaceMate offers those employees working full-time a robust compensation and benefit package to include Health and Prescription coverage, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, AD&D, Flexible Spending Account, Healthcare Savings Account, 401k Retirement Savings, Discount Program, Employee Assistance Program, Financial Wellness Program, Paid Time Off, Legal Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident Coverage.\nWhat this role owns\nThe EMR integration standard. You own the documentation and the standard for how PaceMateLIVE integrates with EMR systems. Our Implementation team continues to deliver customer integrations; you own the specification they deliver against, and you are accountable for it being current, complete, and correct.\nDevice manufacturer and vendor data feeds. You own our integrations with manufacturer and vendor data sources, including recognizing when a feed we already receive is richer than the way we currently consume it, and unlocking what’s in it. This is as much about getting more out of existing integrations as it is about adding new ones.\nOn-platform and third-party service integrations. The integrations users experience inside PaceMateLIVE, across current and future offerings: automated calling and text, messaging, chat and other communication interfaces, scheduling, and the embedded services that come next.\nEssential functions & responsibilities\nOwn the integrations product area end-to-end: discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch iteration.\nOwn and maintain the documentation and technical standard for EMR integrations; partner with Implementation, who delivers against that standard.\nSpecify integrations at the level of data models, field mappings, feed structures, API contracts, error handling, and failure modes, not just outcomes.\nEvaluate existing data feeds for unrealized capability and build the case and the requirements for exploiting them.\nProvide the technical assessment that informs third-party and vendor integration evaluations, in partnership with the decision-makers on those choices.\nTranslate customer, clinical, implementation, and engineering input into build-ready requirements and acceptance criteria.\nDefine success metrics at discovery and evaluate whether releases achieved them post-launch.\nScope toward integrations and manufacturer APIs that do not yet exist, so the platform is positioned when they arrive.\nOwn AI prompt and data-capture patterns within the integrations domain, in partnership with our AI team.\nCollaborate daily with engineering as an embedded partner.\nUse AI tools to prototype, synthesize research, and draft specs, PRDs, and release materials.\nConvert engineering deliverables into release notes and flag training and marketing follow-up.\nMaintain a high-level understanding of PaceMate products and services.\nMaintain appropriate levels of current knowledge and the ability to comprehend and apply policies.\nFollow practices of PaceMate Mission, Vision, and Customer Service standards.\nAdhere to the Code of Conduct and all Company Policies and Procedures.\nAnalyze, access, input, and retrieve data.\nReport pertinent information and assist with tasks to support department operations toward achieving organizational goals.\nQualifications\nAn individual must be able to perform each Essential Function of the job satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified, to perform the essential functions. Nothing within this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.\nWhat stands out to us\nIntegration work that was genuinely difficult: high-volume or near-real-time data feeds, proprietary or poorly documented formats, systems of record, or integrations where completeness and correctness mattered more than speed.\nHaving owned an integration as a product: its data model, its specification, its documentation, and the standard other teams built against.\nExperience productizing an integration platform, connector framework, or partner API program.\nExperience evaluating and integrating third-party services into an existing product surface.\nHealthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) or EMR/EHR integration experience, and familiarity with HIPAA. Useful, but not expected. We are more interested in integration difficulty than industry background, and we actively welcome candidates whose integration experience comes from outside healthcare.\nExperience building or testing customer engagement or clinical workflow platforms.\nEducation, training, and experience\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.\n3-5 years in product management, technical program management, solutions architecture, integration engineering, or a comparable role, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a feature, integration, or product area.\nComfort working close to technical detail: able to read an API specification or a data feed schema and reason about what it does and does not support, and to hold your own in a design conversation with engineers.\nExperience producing technical documentation that other people worked from.\nCurrent, hands-on use of AI tools within a product workflow, with a work sample to show (prototype, spec, or research synthesis).\nExperience defining and evaluating product success metrics post-launch.\nExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, implementation, and go-to-market teams in a remote or virtual setting.\nStrong written communication skills, with a track record of clear product documentation.\nPhysical requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be consistently required to remain in a stationary position working at a computer, constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees via voice and video.\nMust be able to exchange accurate information, with the ability to effectively utilize voice over internet protocol; and repetitive motions using fingers and forearms in data entry.\nOther requirements\nHome office setup: Maintain a dedicated, separate office or room at home to ensure privacy and professional working conditions.\nConnectivity: Maintain a reliable, high-speed internet connection at your residence.\nGeographic restriction: Must reside and work exclusively within the contiguous United States.\nMust legally be eligible to work in the United States.\nNotification protocol: You must inform and receive approval from the IT department before working from any location other than the legal address PaceMate has on file. To update your address or request approval for a temporary work location, contact PaceMate IT or your HR representative. Additional information is available in the PaceMate official handbook.\n Foreign transport of sensitive information: When confidential information is carried into a foreign country, it must be stored in an inaccessible form (e.g., encrypted external storage) or remain in the worker’s possession at all times. PaceMate workers may not take secret PaceMate information into another country without permission from Physical Security management.\nMay require limited travel based on the needs of the business.\nReporting Relationships\nSupervised by: Sr. Manager of Product\nSupervises: None\nTarget Compensation Range: $145,000-$160,000\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at our company. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.\nAbout PaceMate®\nPaceMate® is a patient-centered, tech-enabled cardiac device monitoring platform serving integrated delivery networks and academic health systems nationwide.
