You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 4 people in the Consumer Markets division.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications, APIs, microservices, and integration services.\nDevelop backend applications and services using C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Node.js, and TypeScript.\nDevelop modern user experiences using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.\nDesign and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.\nBuild and support cloud-native solutions using AWS, including services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.\nParticipate in modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy applications to modern .NET, React, API-based, and cloud-native architectures.\nImplement secure application patterns utilizing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SSO, and API security best practices.\nDevelop and maintain automated build and deployment processes using CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues across the frontend, application/API, database, integration, and AWS infrastructure layers.\nImplement effective application logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, performance monitoring, and observability using technologies such as Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.\nParticipate in architecture and technical design discussions and recommend appropriate technology and implementation approaches.\nConduct code reviews and promote reusable components, engineering standards, secure coding practices, and development best practices.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to other developers.\nCollaborate effectively with Product, Architecture, UX, QA, Security, DevOps/Cloud, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET/ASP.NET Core.\nStrong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.\nStrong experience building modern web applications using React.\nExperience designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.\nHands-on experience developing and supporting applications in AWS.\nExperience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.\nUnderstanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SSO, authentication, authorization, and application security.\nStrong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, scalability, resiliency, performance, and secure development practices.\nStrong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple technical and business teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Cognito, and CloudWatch.\nExperience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.\nExperience with Docker and containerized applications.\nExperience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.\nExperience modernizing legacy.NET applications and moving workloads to modern cloud architectures.\nExperience with GraphQL.\nExperience with enterprise identity, authentication, and SSO integrations.\nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment.\nExperience in the financial services, insurance, or life insurance industry is a plus.\nYou can be who you are.\nPeople come first here. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
