Your work will ensure every solution aligns with division standards, enterprise architecture, security requirements, and governance while delivering measurable business outcomes.\nThis role combines solution architecture, software engineering, systems thinking, and business domain expertise to deliver high-quality applications across the Institutional Division’s application portfolio.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nOwn solution discovery from business capability through technical implementation.\nPartner with Product, Solution Architects, SMEs, QA, and engineering teams to define scalable, implementable solution paths.\nProduce implementation-ready technical designs, user stories, data mappings, API specifications, and solution documentation.\nValidate solution approaches against enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards.\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices.\nContribute production-quality code while improving application reliability, maintainability, and performance.\nLeverage AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar technologies to accelerate analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.\nCollaborate with Solution Architects to evaluate technical tradeoffs and establish scalable solution patterns.\nMentor developers through design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.\nDrive simplification, automation, reuse, and reduction of technical debt across the application portfolio.\nThe Experience You Will Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.\n6+ years designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions.\nExperience with Python, React, APIs, SQL, integration technologies, or comparable enterprise platforms.\nExperience translating business capabilities into scalable technical solutions.\nExperience partnering with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity.\nStrong understanding of enterprise application architecture, cloud-native development, integration patterns, and the software delivery lifecycle.\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nExperience within insurance or financial services.\nExperience with enterprise architecture principles and solution governance.\nAWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer)\nExperience leading technical solution design across multiple teams.\nPassion for applying AI to modern software engineering practices.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.\nBase Pay Range:\nThe base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
