This role will be hybrid, in office 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday. \nAs a Senior Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by managing the company's cash to position to ensure the accurate and timely movement of funds to meet the company's obligations. This includes engaging in both short-term investing and short-term debt issuances as well as managing the 90-day cash forecast and collaborating with Pacific Life Investments and other areas within the enterprise to capture relevant and timely cashflows. In addition, you will act as the liaison between financial institutions and internal division to resolve issues, maintain collaborative relationships and provide expertise and guidance on banking issues. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 7 people in the Corporate (Treasury) division. Your colleagues will include the Treasury Director and other Treasury Analysts along with Treasury Service personnel and Treasury System Support staff.\nHow you will make an impact:\n\nUse best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve cash management functions while minimizing risks and eliminating overdrafts.\nMonitor and evaluate account analysis for alignment with our banking contracts.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct of cash management operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLiquidity & Cash Management\nOwn daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity analysis\nMonitor cash positions across entities, currencies, and banks\nResolve transaction issues and inquiries with financial partners\nForecast short-term cash needs\nOptimize cash concentration opportunities\nSupport liquidity stress testing and contingency funding plans\nEnsures the enterprise maintains adequate liquidity at the lowest cost while supporting business growth.\nCash Flow Forecasting & Analytics\nBuild and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts\nAnalyze forecast accuracy and explain variances\nCollaborate with ALM and Treasury Capital Markets on liquidity and funding data\nPartner with investment operations, accounting, and business units to improve inputs Translates operational activity into actionable treasury insights.\nBanking & Counterparty Management\n Maintain relationships with banks, custodians, and payment providers\nAnalyze bank service utilization and fees\nSupport enterprise bank administrative functions\nMonitor short term debt and investment exposure and concentration limits\nBalances service quality, risks and costs across bank relationships.\nDebt, Capital Markets & Funding Support\nProvide back office support for debt issuance and refinancing activities\nMonitor compliance with covenants, ratings triggers, and leverage metrics\nMaintain debt schedules and interest expense forecasts\nEnables efficient access to capital markets and protects credit ratings.\nShort Term Investments and Custodial Support\nMonitor short-term investment portfolios (money market, STIF, repos)\nSupport investment operations’ derivatives, cash and asset settlements with custodial banks\nUse knowledge of collateral and settlement instructions to assist in the successful clearing of custodial transactions. Aligns operational needs with short term investment performance and risk appetite.\nRisk Management & Controls\nEnsure compliance with investment guidelines, treasury policies, and internal controls\nParticipate in audits and regulatory exams\nStrengthens treasury’s control environment and risk governance.\nTreasury Systems & Process Improvement\nServe as a power user for the treasury workstation, payment platforms, and bank portals\n Build automation for reporting and reconciliations\nImprove data quality, timeliness, and transparency\nCommunicate business requirements for system improvements\nSupport system upgrades and integrations\nIncreases scalability and reduces manual risk.\nManagement Reporting & Executive Support\nPrepare dashboards and executive-level reports\nSummarize liquidity position and funding options for leadership\n Enables informed decision-making at senior levels.\nThe experience you bring:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CTP designation preferred \n5 years in corporate treasury, finance, or banking operations.\nFamiliarity with cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking platforms.\nExperience with Treasury Management and ERP systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAdvanced Excel and data visualization capabilities\nKnowledge of payment systems, SWIFT, and bank connectivity\nExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities\n\nWhat will make you stand out:\nThe Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation by the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP).\nFIS Integrity and RedBridge Hawkeye experience\nCollaborative team member requiring minimal guidance\nBase Pay Range:\nThe base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
