Working within a multidisciplinary project delivery environment, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) projects across the mining and resources sector.\nThis position offers exposure across the full project lifecycle, from project planning and work-winning activities through to construction execution and commissioning. You will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely on\nschedule and within budget.\nKey Accountabilities\nCoordinate and manage Structural, Mechanical and Piping project activities throughout project delivery.\n\nMonitor project schedules, budgets and progress to support successful project outcomes.\n\nManage subcontractors, suppliers and construction interfaces across project work packages.\n\nSupport procurement activities, tender evaluations and scope development.\n\nPrepare project reports, forecasts and delivery updates for key stakeholders.\n\nAssist with cost control, risk management and project planning activities.\n\nSupport construction execution, commissioning and site-based project delivery when required.\n\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.\n\nContribute to bids, proposals and work-winning activities to support future project opportunities.\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements throughout project execution.\n\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or related discipline).\n\nApproximately 3-7 years' experience in project engineering within mining, resources, heavy industry or construction environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing project schedules, costs and subcontractors.\n\nExposure to SMP projects and construction delivery activities.\n\nStrong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.\n\nA proactive and solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to project delivery.\n\nDesirable Experience\nExperience working within EPC, EPCM or construction contractor environments.\n\nSite-based construction, commissioning or shutdown experience.\n\nExperience delivering projects within mining, mineral processing or industrial facilities.\n\nFamiliarity with brownfield and greenfield project environments.\n\nWillingness to travel to project sites as required.\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\nThe opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging SMP projects across the resources sector.\n\nExposure to both project delivery and work-winning activities.\n\nFlexible work arrangements and project variety.\n\nOngoing professional development and career progression opportunities.\n\nA collaborative and supportive team environment.\n\nA strong focus on safety, innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nHow to Join Our Team\nIf this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, please submit your CV by clicking \"Apply\" now.\nPlease note you must hold the right to work in Australia.\nSedgman is an equal opportunity employer.
