This role is pivotal in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and leading a high-performing accounting team across multiple business units.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and supervise all accounting functions for the business units, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting, monthly closing, and integration within the CMiC system.\n\nOversee financial forecasting, including Work in Progress (WIP) projections and other revenue and expense planning.\n\nParticipate in contract reviews, project setup, billing structures, and client meetings as needed.\n\nLead and develop a team of approximately 30 project accountants, working closely with HR and operational leadership to attract, retain, and mentor top talent.\n\nWork alongside senior management to craft and execute financial strategies that align with business growth objectives.\n\nImplement and enhance internal controls to optimize financial integrity and efficiency.\n\nDrive the budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating financial data for strategic planning.\n\nPrepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights into company performance, income, expenses, and balance sheet management.\n\nCollaborate with the treasury team to support cash flow management, collections, and payment processes.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements, recommending best practices for financial operations.\n\nAssist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as directed by senior leadership.\n\nSupervise complex journal entries and ensure their accurate reflection across financial statements.\n\nManage the annual external audit process and year-end financial reporting.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.\n\nPrior experience in project accounting is highly desirable.\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.\n\nStrong background in job costing and revenue recognition for construction companies.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong analytical abilities.\n\nHands-on experience with integrated accounting systems.\n\nFamiliarity with Procore construction software is a plus.\nOn site job.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who is eager to make a significant impact within a thriving construction company.
