modification, and inspection of aircraft structures and systems to ensure airworthiness, safety, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and FAA-approved data.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nEnsure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures\n\nEnsure aircraft are ready for flight and in safe operating condition\n\nMust be able to interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings and technical instructions.\n\nAssess material requirements and tools/equipment needed to perform job.\n\nAbility to use a variation of fabrication tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.\n\nFamiliar with Federal Aviation Regulations, operational procedures, and industry standards\n\nRegularly updates technical and aeronautical expertise through training, self-study, and operational experience\n\nDocument all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures\n\nResponsible for personal and company tool accountability to include reporting unserviceable tools and equipment\n\nFabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with Aircraft AMM, SRM, drawings, and specifications.\n\nComply with established policies, procedures, and standards\n\nComply with all safety, environmental security, and housekeeping standards\n\nComply with all training requirements\n\nAbility to operate special purpose and regular vehicles as authorized\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequirements\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n\nValid FAA Airframe (A) license required\n\nMinimum Qualifications;\nMinimum of 4 Years recent experience in aircraft structural repairs and modifications.\nValid driver's license required\n\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\n\nKnowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software\n\nMust be able to successfully pass background check\n\nMust be able to successfully pass pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings\n\nCurrently possess or able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance, or higher.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nInspection Authorization (IA)\n\nAirborne ISR Mission Systems experience\n\nFamiliar with DCMA 8210 and FGOP\n\nExperience with Cessna 337 Skymaster\n\nWork Environment\nFAR Part 91 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment\n\nAvailability during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (Mission dependent)\n\nTravel\nSome travel is required
