In this role you will collaborate with customers and other team members to evaluate customers’ needs and expectations, design packaging, build prototypes and make samples to submit to customers to ensure they receive cost effective and aesthetically appealing design solutions per their expectations. Prepare CAD specifications for production during the manufacturing process and partner with other team members to fulfill customer requests and offer guidance in respect to optimizing department and manufacturing efficiency. \n\nQualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in the Packaging Engineering program at the University of Wisconsin - Stout \nKnowledge of corrugated structural design principals\nExcellent communication skills (verbal & visual) \nCreative thinking and problem solving skills\nDemonstrated critical thinking abilities\nAbility to learn quickly and apply new concepts\nClose attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution\nTechnical understanding, must be proficient in the use of CAD software, Microsoft Office, materials and manufacturing process\nSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic \nDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously\nPCA is an equal opportunity employer.
