PCA is proud to have a highly skilled and experienced team leading the way.\nAs one of the largest producers of containerboard and corrugated packaging products in the U.S., PCA offers customers broad expertise and economies of scale, while our multiple plant locations let us rapidly meet the local needs of our customers.\nFinance Intern/Co-op – Summer 2027\nJob Requirements:\nAuditing Capabilities:\nUnderstanding of Contractor Time & Material Billings and markups\nPhysical Inventories: \nWork with others outside the accounting group to perform physical inventories.\nTeam Oriented:\nSense of urgency, focus and curiosity\nPartner with Operations\nAble to take instructions, execute and effectively communicate results.\nAble to work with accounting and non-accounting personnel.\nSafety Awareness:\nAbility to work safely and adapt to environment when around machinery\nQualifications:\nComputer Skills:\nProficient in use of MicroSoft EXCEL\nFamiliar differences in Mainframe applications vs PC based systems\nUndergraduate course work in accounting:\n Process MFG Cost Accounting\nCost Analysis\nInternal controls\nForecasting\nOverall GPA 3.0/4.0\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust be currently enrolled at Mississippi State University, The University of Mississippi, Auburn University, University of Alabama, University of Maine, University of North Carolina State, Texas A&M University, University of Miami Ohio, Tennessee Technology University, or any University of TN and majoring in Finance or accounting or a related field and have completed the freshman year.
