This position is part of the Information Technology Systems department, End-User Systems Support group. This person will interface with internal and external end-users to support and maintain end-user computing needs.Principal Accountabilities: \nResponsible for knowing and following policies and procedures of the company; for sharing information that would benefit other members of the team; and for finding ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers.\nExpected to continually strive to strengthen our business philosophy of Meeting needs, exceeding expectations for our customers. This includes supporting our Commitment to Service which involves doing what is right for our customers, focusing on strategies that add value and support growth, and keeping the promises that we make.\nResponsible for deploying, utilizing and troubleshooting SCCM Agent connectivity, remote control, inventory queries and reports.\nResponsible for providing in person and remote support of other team members, support engineers and end users.\nResponsible for performing different methods of application packaging and deployment such as in machine and/or user environments, batch file scripting, VBS, AutoIT, Powershell, MSI, and InstallShield.\nResponsible for Internet Explorer browsing configuration, security, troubleshooting and browser customizations.\nResponsible for Desktop hardware and operating system security, access and controls via Powershell, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Connectivity and Group Policy.\nBasic Qualifications:Education: \nBachelor of Science, Information Technology Systems or equivalent\n\nWork Experience: \nPrevious work experience in related ITS areas preferred.\nApplicant should have familiarity with application versus Network Security administration.\nApplicant should have familiarity with Local and Wide Area Networks.\nApplicant should have familiarity with investigating and resolving first echelon help desk service requests.\nSkills: \nDemonstrated mastered basic keyboarding and editing skills. Must be Windows Operating Systems literate.\nStrong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.\nAbility to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.\nAbility to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.\nEffective communicator, verbal and written.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\nAbility to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of plant and corporate personnel and with customers and vendors.\nAbility to lift and move 50lbs of equipment when needed.\nThis position summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people in this job.
