Accounts Receivable Associate- Salt Lake City, UT
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including collecting open invoices, resolving customer inquiries, and handling credit holds on customer accounts. As a key member of our cohesive AR team, you will independently manage a variety of responsibilitieswithin customer profiles with a high levelof proficiency. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Customer Operations and Sales, helping to ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.
What You'll Do
Communicate with customers regardingthe status of their accounts, including providing supporting documentation for invoices.
Collaborate with AR team members for daily review of material shipment orders on credit hold.
Set up and maintaincredit limits and assess credit risk for new customers.
Review and manage collections and account reconciliations.
Review and manage customer portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) for assigned accounts.
Provide support during external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring
A minimumof 1yearexperience in accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes within a corporate accounting environment preferred.
Experience within a corporate accounting environment is a plus.
Strong proficiencyin MS Excel and Word is required.
Experience with SAP, Quadient/YayPay, and Salesforce preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees and customers at all organizational levels.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
What We Offer
The hourly rate for this role is $29-$31/hr; however, Packsizeconsiders several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.Packsize offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short-termand long-term disability, life, and 401(k) employer match.
