This Engineer will work on-site at one of our Key Customers locations to install, maintain and support Packsize equipment, manage our parts and inventory unit within the warehouse, as well as build and maintain customer relationships by effectively servicing the equipment. This individual must understand the needs of the customer, work proactively and efficiently to meet those needs, and provides 5-Star customer service by proactively visiting or calling the customer to ensure they are fully satisfied with the Packsize equipment, process flow, packaging designs, and service.\nWhat You'll Do\nWork cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams\nReceive incoming parts and supplies, verify their quality and quantity\nEnsure proper documentation and record-keeping of parts transactions\nMonitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies.\nAnalyze customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to identify new or ongoing machine performance issues resulting in problem-solving and machine maintenance.\nCompletes and successfully pass training courses\nDevelops knowledge of Packaging Designs\nLearns and develops the customer support and technical skills necessary to perform high quality maintenance\nPerforms preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and accessories\nPerforms installation of new equipment and train Customer Personnel\nLearns and completes basic administration duties (assigned tasks, emails, etc.)\nExposed to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols\nExcellent work ethic and time management skills needed\nMust be accessible via telephone, and promptly return email and phone messages\nTravel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, overnight travel may be required\nWhat You'll Bring\nProven experience in parts and inventory management, preferably in similar industry\nProficiency in using inventory management software and tools\nExcellent Customer Service skills\nBasic Excel, Word skills\nKnowledge of Windows platforms\nAdvanced mechanical skills\nAdvanced troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues utilizing drawings, operational characteristics, and technical documentation\nAbility to learn troubleshooting and problem-solving procedures\nAble and willing to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist\nMust be able to climb a ladder\nExhibit mature, independent judgment with little or no direct supervision\nEffectively communicate through written and verbal reports to customer and direct supervision regarding worksite status\nAssociate degree or Vocational technical training is strongly desired, Bachelor’s in related area preferred\nGood mechanical and troubleshooting skills\nClean driving record with a valid driver’s license\nMachine Operation\nClearing jams, loading Z-fold, changing labels, changing bander paper and adding glue to the machine.\nTravel\nThere will be initial travel requirements for training purposes.\nWorking Environment and Physical Demands\nThe following are representative of the typical working environment and physical demands\nof this position.
