This dual-role position is responsible for maintaining inventory and supply systems while also coordinating and providing transportation services for residents to appointments, procedures, and other approved destinations.\nThe ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-service oriented, and enjoys a variety of responsibilities throughout the workday.\nKey Responsibilities\nCentral Supply\nOrder, receive, stock, and distribute medical and facility supplies\nMaintain inventory of items such as briefs, gloves, PPE, wound care supplies, and over-the-counter medications\nMonitor supply usage and identify shortages or overutilization\nMaintain accurate inventory records and ordering logs\nTrack supply expenses and assist with budget management\nDevelop positive relationships with vendors and suppliers\nEnsure supply rooms remain organized, stocked, and compliant with facility standards\nAssist department leaders with supply-related needs and special requests\nTransportation\nSafely transport residents to and from medical appointments, dialysis, procedures, and other approved destinations\nCoordinate transportation schedules with nursing staff and appointment providers\nAssist residents entering and exiting facility vehicles\nEnsure resident safety and comfort during transport\nMaintain vehicle cleanliness and complete routine vehicle inspections\nReport vehicle maintenance needs promptly\nCommunicate appointment updates and transportation concerns to nursing and leadership teams\nMaintain transportation logs and documentation as required\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred\nPrevious experience in healthcare, central supply, transportation, or inventory management preferred\nLong-term care experience is a plus\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nBasic computer skills and experience with inventory or ordering systems\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities throughout the day\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong attention to detail\nLicenses & Requirements\nValid South Carolina driver's license with acceptable driving record\nAbility to safely operate facility transportation vehicles\nAbility to assist residents with transfers and mobility needs during transport\nMust maintain required certifications and training applicable to the position\nApply Today!\nJoin Cherrydale Post Acute and become an essential part of a team committed to exceptional care and operational excellence.
