You may also assist in supervising kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines\nEnsure compliance with special and therapeutic diets, including texture-modified meals\nMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment\nFollow food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards\nMonitor and record food temperatures\nAssist with meal service and ensure appealing food presentation\nMaintain proper sanitizer levels and follow cleaning schedules\nClean kitchen equipment, work areas, and serving carts\nCollaborate with dietary team and other departments\nReport resident concerns or issues to leadership as needed\nSupervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nAt least 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care\nMust obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification\nKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary needs\nExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred\nStrong teamwork and communication skills\nReliable, organized, and detail-oriented\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
