As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll lead the team that makes that happen. You’ll coordinate daily operations, support your staff, and set the standard for cleanliness both inside and outside our community.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupervise the housekeeping team and manage staffing schedules to keep offices, public areas, resident rooms, and grounds spotless\nInspect resident and public areas regularly to maintain a high standard of quality\nPlan and schedule cleaning programs, including annual deep cleans, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning\nMonitor inventory, order equipment and supplies, and ensure safe handling and storage\nHelp schedule and lead training sessions and department meetings\nTrain staff on safe chemical handling and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards, including OSHA, EPA, and SDS requirements\nWork alongside your team when needed, cleaning floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident apartments, and other areas\nHelp monitor the housekeeping department budget\nPrepare resident charges and billing for housekeeping services when applicable\nPromote a safe workplace by preventing accidents, caring for equipment, and encouraging safe work practices\nWhat you bring\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAt least one year of related experience or training\nPrevious supervision and scheduling experience or training (required)\nLong-term care experience (preferred)\nAbility to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and welcome constructive feedback\nTact and professionalism when working with staff, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public\nA practical, problem-solving mindset and openness to new methods and ideas\nBasic math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)\nAbility to read and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions\nFluency in written and spoken English\nPhysical requirements\nAbility to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds\nRegularly sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, talking, and hearing\nDaily use of housekeeping supplies and equipment, plus occasional office equipment (copier/scanner/fax, phone, calculator)\nReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities\nWhy join Three Meadows Post Acute?\nThis is a hands-on leadership role where your work is seen and appreciated by residents, families, and coworkers alike.
