The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview and process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for employees of multiple entities, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, overtime, extra pay, benefits, and deductions.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.\nHandle payroll-related inquiries from multiple entity payroll coordinators and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.\nCollaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate reporting of employee benefits and time-off requests.\nPrepare and process off-cycle payrolls for employee terminations and retroactive pay in accordance with state regulations.\nSupport audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.\nStay current on payroll trends and best practices to enhance payroll processes.\nProvide ongoing training and support to entity payroll coordinators.\nAssist with projects as required.\nQualifications:\nExperience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.\n\nProven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role doing multi-state processing. (CPP or FPC a plus!)\n\nKnowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).\n\nStrong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.\n\nExcellent customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\n\nLocation: This is an in-person role located at PACS Downtown Campus in Salt Lake City, Utah.\nPhysical Demands:\nPrimarily sedentary office-based role (or remote computer-based work)\nProlonged periods of sitting while performing payroll processing and data entry\nFrequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone\nOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching as needed\nMay occasionally lift or carry light items (up to 10 lbs), such as documents or office supplies\nRequires visual acuity and manual dexterity for detailed data review and system navigation\nRequires ability to focus for extended periods while working with sensitive and confidential information\nJoin PACS: Elevate Healthcare with Us!\nPACS is elevating healthcare by revolutionizing our approach to leadership and quality care.
