(NOTE: Such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur.)\nCoordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.\nOther related duties may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.\nAgree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator\nAttend departmental and staff meetings as directed or called.\nPerform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.\nFile complaints/grievances with your supervisor.\nReceive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.\nPerform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.\nPerform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.\nClean windows and screens as directed.\nReplace burned out light bulbs, to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.\nService heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures\nPerform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.\nEnsure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.\nEnsure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.\nReport equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible\nFollow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.\nAssist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested\nEnsure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.\nMaintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.\nReport known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.\nInform residents when it is necessary to move his/her personal possessions.\nOur Benefits\nComprehensive Healthcare: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance\n\nGenerous Time Off: Paid Vacation Days, Sick Days, and Holidays.\n\nFinancial Future: 401K retirement plan.\n\nGrowth: Education Stipends to help you further your nursing education.\n\nEmployee Perks: A robust recognition program and a supportive, five-star work environment.\n\nQualifications\nMust possess a minimum 10th grade education.\nLanguage Skills \nMust possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.\nAbility to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.\nMust maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas.\nAbility to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.\nMathematical Skills \nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.\nReasoning Ability \nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
