If it touches revenue, operations, partnerships, or how the team grows, it's probably yours.\nThis is an in-person role in San Francisco.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the full deal lifecycle: quotes, POs, invoicing, contracts, DPA negotiations, and close.\n\nManage a team of BDRs and Sales Operations, coach them, set the bar, and help them get better.\n\nBuild and maintain the tools and automations that keep sales running: HubSpot, Airtable, Stripe, Zapier, and whatever else needs to exist.\n\nWork with Account Managers/Security Engineers/Legal to handle complex procurement from government agencies, school districts, and institutional buyers who need security reviews, compliance docs, and legal addendums.\n\nUse AI to effectively and accurately query the data warehouse, build trackers and alerts, and surface insights that actually change how we sell.\n\nSupport customers and partners navigating student data privacy and compliance requirements.\n\nPrioritize the team’s workload, managing projects effectively across diverse time zones, currencies.\n\nQualifications\nYou like working hard.\n\nYou are honest.\n\nYou've run sales ops or revenue ops at a SaaS company and know what great looks like.\n\nYou know how to work with AI and agents, not just use them. You prompt well, build with them, wire them into real workflows, and treat them like a team member that's always on.\n\nYou're technical enough to understand SQL, Python, and debug scripts or code without waiting for engineering.\n\nYou are a problem solver, critical thinker, and resourceful by default. You are not afraid to say you don’t know and pull in team mates from other teams when the problem calls for it.\n\nYou've managed people, not just managed up.\n\nBonus: You know how edtech buying works, including the bureaucratic gauntlet of government and school district procurement.\n\nJoys of sales ops at Padlet\nYou'll help close deals with county governments, ministries, and everything in between.\n\nYou'll actually build things, not just manage spreadsheets or dashboards.\n\nYou'll learn and build on the go, surrounded by some of the best people you'll ever work with.\n\nYour work directly touches revenue, and you'll see the impact.\n\nSorrows of sales ops at Padlet\nYou will get pulled into deals that are complicated in ways you did not anticipate.\n\nCompliance requirements vary by country, state, and sometimes by the mood of whoever drafted the policy.\n\nYou will context-switch a lot.
