We strive to create a workplace culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and career growth.\nPosition Summary\nThis position is responsible for driving a company truck, such as a Lugger, Rolloff (2-6 axle), Hook Truck, Walking Floor, Flatbed or Super Single and switching trailers or containers at customer account locations. Also responsible for other driving assignments as directed by Dispatch. Actively participates and displays behaviors of the company values. \nSchedule: \nMonday - Friday\n5:30 am - 5:30 pm\nResponsibilities\nGoes over the day’s schedule and meets or exceeds daily runs and communicates exceptions with the dispatcher\nUnderstands department goals for efficiency and sets personal goals to meet or exceed the standards. \nService customer locations, listens to and solves customer problems, and always maintains good customer relations\nProvide outstanding customer service as a service representative for the company\nPrepare shipping documents for all loads, weigh all loads and perform initial material inspections\nMaintain paperwork for scale tickets, shippers, logbooks and trip reports\nComplete and submit necessary reports, such as accident damage and traffic violation reports\nPerform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection\nSubmit to random drug and alcohol testing as required\nInspect loads and tarp/secure loads when necessary\nMaintain inside of truck\nEnters trip data into truck computer and be able to operate Nextel phones\nModels behaviors as stated in Company Values\nBe cross trained in different trucks. (Truck Driver II)\nUses good judgment and ensures a safe work environment, adheres to posted speed limits\nAccountable for preventing and avoiding flat tires\nCompletes scrap material ID sheets\nOther duties as necessary\n\nQualifications\nTwo years’ experience driving similar vehicles. (Truck Driver II)\nHigh school diploma\nCDL Class A license required with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction)\nMust have a clean driving record\nLift up to 75 lbs while chaining\nLegible handwriting\nStrong mathematical skills\nAbility to work independently and be detailed oriented\nAbility to maintain logbooks\nMust be willing to work in an outdoor environment\n\nPADNOS has a rich history of taking care of our Team Members, their families and the multiple communities we serve.
