Interns must be located in Indianapolis during the duration of the program and be willing to commit to a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office/2 days remote each week.\nWhat You’ll Experience\nOur Member Analytics and Operations team is responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic support of core business development platforms. They serve as key liaisons between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Information Technology, and other Bank business units to ensure systems effectively support member engagement, relationship management, and data-driven decision-making.\nAs a Business Intelligence Intern at FHLBank, you’ll:\nAnalyze large datasets to identify trends and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making and operational improvements.\nDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.\nPerform regular reconciliation tasks between systems and develop methods to streamline and automate those processes.\nUtilize SQL and data visualization techniques to support data-driven initiatives.\nApply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively.\nContribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study.\nGain exposure to finance, banking, credit, and insurance industries.\nUtilize publicly available market and institution data to drive findings about specific market trends regularly, and new trends as they emerge.\nParticipate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!).\nWho We’re Looking For\nWe’re seeking students who:\nAre actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.\nHave completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
